With a new approach to children’s music, Chip and Vince strive to make kids records that adults can also enjoy. Both were educated at The New England Conservatory of Music, Vince with a bachelor’s degree in Jazz Trombone Performance and Chip with a bachelor’s degree in Jazz Guitar and composition. After school, Vince toured the world with a well-known ska band, The Pilfers. Chip was recording with legendary producers Phil Ramone and Frank Filipetti, simultaneously producing two of his own CD’s. He also performed and recorded with Sinead O’Connor and Bob Dylan. Twenty years ago, Chip and Vince decided to make music together and have done so ever since, choosing to “raise the bar” on original children’s music that includes a spectrum of musical genres punctuated with infectious melodies and intelligent lyrics.
